Google Wave Set To Hit The Shores of 100k Developers And Initial Users Tomorrow
Google will roll out around 100000 invitations to preview Google Wave starting Wednesday September 30th.
Here is the crux:
- Do not consider it as a final release. This is just a preview mainly for testing/bug-fixing purpose.
- 100k invites to be send to 3 groups: a).Active developers that were involved in the developer preview of Wave b).Initial users who gave feedback on wave.google.com c).Selected Google Apps customers
- Every user will be allowed to nominate (NOT invite) 8 people to whom the invites will be send at a future point in time.
- Around 1 million people applies for preview, so for all those unlucky folks invites will be send as the capacity increases.
- Google Wave will now be accessible at wave.google.com instead of wavesandbox.com(used initially by Wave testers).
- You can now use your original Google-Account credentials to access Wave and it will sync up with your GMail contacts.
- Widgets will be integrated with Wave. Currently it will have Suduko (so you can play that real time with your friends), Ribbit, 6rounds and Lonely Planet.
- Wave will work best with Chrome (Firefox, Safari also fine) and IE users will be suggested to install Chrome Frame for smoother experience!
Sounds good! Come again tomorrow for our around the blogs review of Wave.

This will make other E-mail clients look decades out of date. Any idea when will the full release be?

@liverpool U can expect release of Wave in Mid 2010..
I checked out the wave, the only thing I didn’t enjoy was the fact of two or three people working on the same document.
That is when trouble arrives in a working environment that is..
