Nokia’s Booklet 3G (Netbook) Comes With 12 Hour Battery Life?
Nokia will start selling its first netbook in US, which will run on Windows 7 from Oct 22nd (Windows 7 roll out date). The netbook dubbed Booklet 3G is priced at $299 with a two year contract with AT&T which will provide the network connectivity and it will cost $60 per month. The overall price of the netbook comes around $1700 which includes 2 year of 3G connectivity. But if you don’t want AT&T subscription, then you can get this netbook for $599 (unsubsidized rate, insanely high). The Booklet 3G will be available exclusively on Best Buy but will be extended to other outlets after the holidays. The most fascinating aspect of this notebook is that it will come powered with 12 hr of battery life (as it will be using slowest of Intel’s Atom Processors). Can you believe this? If this is true then Nokia Booklet would be something remarkable- 12hrs back-up along with 3G. The line between mobile phone and netbook is blurring faster than we think! Welcome to mobile-world 2.0
