Ballmer Yelling..!

Ballmer Yelling..!

Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer is quite famous for his flamboyant on stage performances! Although he tries hard to ‘act different‘ but more often than not he ends up looking ridiculous. He reminds me of those kids in 6 grade who act like clowns just make sure they don’t go unnoticed by girls of their class. So, what happened this time you might be wondering.. If the following YouTube video is to be believed then Ballmer got annoyed and blown off because one of his employees was not enthusiastic about Ding oops… Bing! Ballmer in his usual way was repeatedly yelling Bing.. Bing at a meeting. The employee in the video was then asked by Ballmer to yell out Bing. On failing to do so, Ballmer fired him on the spot. Although the authenticity of the video is still not 100% confirmed but I won’t be surprised if this real. Earlier there have been incidents when Ballmer bullshitted and insulted MS employee for carrying iPhone. This time around a poor employee got fired just because he did not yell out Bing infront of Ballmer. How can a company expect creativity and innovation from its employee under such leadership? This is sick.

Update - Some one has left a comment on this post and we would like to believe that he the creator of this video. He says

Billy : While this is funny – and actually quite believable.

Note: (from the video comment section – About the Video section is the key point)

How one Microsoft employee didn’t “bing” good enough for Steve Ballmer.

About The Video:

At a time when Americans are scared, jobless, and homeless, we wanted to create a comedy that would resonate with how Americans are feeling. We are Scott Rose and Ernie Brandon, a screenwriting duo in Los Angeles, and we don’t have anything to give back to America except for belly laughs. This video is a teaser for our new comedy screenplay about what it means to be a little guy in the land of giants. This is our Christmas gift to the working class.

I am least surprised by this. Ballmer is well know for his weird monkey like attitude. I would say judging Ballmer by this is under estimating him completely. once he threw a chair around in the office after getting blown off.

Well i find it both surprising and amazing that people judge some one based on rumors. “Threw chair around..” who the hell told you abt this John? Ballmer is a great person who is responsible for incredible products like Windows, IE, Office… He is one the most important figures in the industry and surely will find a place in the history.

        hmm…
IE – Worst browser ever made
Windows – All know about the incredible success of Visa !
Office – agreed. It is better but still no comparison to Apple iWork.

ok yeah…Yes, he will find a place in history… who the hell can shout in conferences like Ballmer.

IE – 70%+ browser market share
Windows – 85%+ OS market share
          Office – 70%+ market share

can i know if these are the worst products ever made why people still buy them? y is iWork not as popular as Office? Y macitosh after being in the market for 25 long yrs only has a meager 5% OS market share?

            I can answer that.
DOS and Windows has been the only OS available for IBM-compatible computers for like a decade. If the folks at Microsoft were unable to sell up to 85% of the world market share of Personal Computers then they should be all shoot dead.
Apple, the other competitor for IBM were lagging behind after the IBM-compatibility move.
So, Microsoft remained almost the only OS available for PCs until Linux appeared (Forget about OS/2).
Now Microsoft OS (25 years old OS) is hardly catching up with Linux (available for “casual” PC users less than 6 years ago) and Mac OS X (9 years old OS), who’s going to win here?
IE, the only product Microsoft had some real competition has fallen rapidly since Mozilla started, it’s now hardly surviving with Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Opera. If you recall, Netscape was dominating the browsers industry until Microsoft bundled IE with Windows. Too many stories my friend.
History reveals how Microsoft is destroying the industry.

            – “In a world of freedom, there is no need for Windows and Gates”.

And by the way, Firefox is now the world most popular browser:

Why did the guy say “laid off” in the beginning? More like fired.

And developers make good money. Unless he doesn’t know how to save/budget, he should have at some *some* cash to “buy his kids christmas presents”.

This totally looks like a fake.

Can’t really say whether this video is real or fake but i definitely find Steve Ballmer a lot more sane than the ‘act different’ , ‘think different’ Steve Jobs. I don’t find that self proclaimed Jesus any less evil. Infact Apple (& Jobs) have time and again shown that they are a lot and a lot more evil than MS. Monopolies are always bad but Apple/Steve is worst.

Are you freaking serious? Did you even read the info on the youtube video before you shot this blog post out of your ass?

    From the youtube video:

“At a time when Americans are scared, jobless, and homeless, we wanted to create a comedy that would resonate with how Americans are feeling. Seriously, if you can’t even take the time to read the information about the video you’re posting you might as well give up now. Idiot.

Can I suggest you the same? The same comment is also here at TechDusts (just one comment above yours), but Mr. Billy or who ever is the creator of the video posted this confession (that the video is nothing but a joke) only after a couple of days on youtube and every wer else.
