Advice – Don’t Buy Droid Rather Buy Some Time, Google Phone (Nexus One) Is Coming on Jan 5th!

The much rumored and awaited Google phone (Nexus One) looks to be only a week away from its launch now. 2 major developments happening in the past hour almost certainly nails that Google is coming out with Nexus One – its own phone on 5th of January.

First a leaked internal T-Mobile memo which says

“Google, with support from T-Mobile, is scheduled to launch a new Android device in early January. The Google Android phone will be sold solely by Google via the Web.”

Notably T-Mobile will only provide services like billing and rate plan etc and support will be provided by Google and HTC. As said earlier Google plans to sell the phone online.

Second : Google has just rolled out invitation for “an Android press gathering” scheduled on 5th January at its head quarters in Mountain View. See the snapshot of the invitation letter below. Google has not said any thing about the phone in specific. This is no Apple launch, don’t expect any surprises… the phone has already been handed over to the employees for dog fooding and all the specs are out. 5th January is the date Google will launch its own mobile phone called Nexus One.

I just got a Nexus One for Xmas from someone I know, I have to say it is a great phone. Very fast. Only think I am waiting for is the multi-touch hack. I know for my old G1, there was a hack to support multi-touch.

Downloading may be possible, buut diffiucult
as some download site block proxy access, and some IP changes mmay making downloading impossible.

Moreover, ‘key’ is your password which in this case is ‘password’, change
it too whatever you want, I woulpd suggest you to not to use
numbers in password). Owners who visited resources do not see the real
IP addsress of the user and, therefore, its actual location or cellular devices.
