iTunes – 10 Billion Songs Downloaded & Counting
iTunes has just now reached another hall mark. Some time back iTunes recorded its 10 billionth song download. Apple has gift voucher of $10000 for the person who has downloaded this lucky song. They will be revealing details on this soon. Steve couldn’t have asked for a better Birthday gift than this! 10 Billion songs downloaded means a lot. Putting in more numbers this means that every single person on earth has downloaded around 1.49431 songs from iTunes store of Apple (World population – 66920303277).
Ofcourse this is not true considering that there are only close 1.7 billion internet user world wide. This further illustrates the success of iTunes and reflects that how many people depend on it to download their music. Apple staged this 10 Billion countdown at their website. This also has list of All-Time-Top-Songs with “I Gotta Feeling - Black Eyed Peas“ holding number 1 place.
