Tech Today – Office 2010 Launched. 4G iPhone Saga Goes On. Google Tablet. HTC Sues Apple
There have been some big updates today so I thought that instead of writing about just one of them better brief up all of them along with relevant links. Lets start with the biggest.
Office 2010 Launched:
Microsoft has officially launched its latest edition of its Office suite today – Microsoft Office 2010. It also includes a free online edition called Office Web Apps to compete head on with rival Google. Microsoft took every one by surprise last year when it announced that Web edition of Office will be free. Office 2010 has been receiving very positive reviews right from the time its preview was launched in July last year. Along with this, Office 2010 Mobile has also been launched which is available with the desktop version. A free upgrade is also available for users of Windows Mobile 6.5
Yet Another iPhone 4th Generation Prototype Lost by Apple – This it is surprisingly coming from Vietnam. A Vietnamese site Taoviet.com has published photos and videos of the this 4th generation model which are almost similar to the one leaked out by Gizmodo. Only this time the bottom of the iPhone doesn’t have screws on it. Rest all remains almost the same. Check out the video embedded below.
Google and Verizon Coming Out with an iPad Rival:
Back to Google Vs Apple now – Google is planning to come out with an iPad rival along with Verizon. Verizons CEO has been quoted saying that “We’re working on tablets together, for example. We’re looking at all the things Google has in its archives that we could put on a tablet to make it a great experience” [via WSJ]
Not really surprising if you ask me.
HTC Sues Apple:
Latest Coming – HTC sues Apple and has asked United States International Trade Commission (ITC) to halt the importation and sale of the iPhone, iPad and iPod in the United States. and how?

Should be a good alternative to Nokia [X]press Music phone series. I think we can expect it to be a trimmed down Xpress music. So if you are impressed with xpress music and dont want to spend that much (hopefully) then this should serve good.
