The HP 210 is available without OS. You can install the Ubuntu Netbook edition using a flash drive. But for what it’s worth, windows7 works magnificently on low-resource machines. Waay better compared to its predecessors
I own an HP Mini 210. As much as I respect the netbook for its utility, some of them have issues with usability.
The Dell has side buttons on the trackpad and the HP trackpad is just not very responsive. The list is pretty endless.
The thing about these netbooks is they make great replacements for laptops for people on the run. In this instance, the iPad fails miserably. Honestly, I don’t think the comparison is fair with respect to purpose.
What good is a 25k device with PC like functionality and performance if i cant hook it up to a projector or a lan cable or a usb modem or a drive. Netbook over iPad anyday.
